Cutback Saw Operator – 2nd Shift

Pries is looking for a Cutback Saw Operator to join our growing team! No previous experience is required—we provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals who are ready to learn and grow in manufacturing.

Shift:

Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Occasional Saturday work based on production needs

Starting Pay:

Up to $22.00 per hour

Requirements:

Steel-toe footwear required
PPE reimbursement available

Responsibilities:

Verify material lengths, die profiles, and work orders using Epicor.
Confirm cut tolerances and ensure specifications are met.
Inspect material for defects and burrs after cutting; identify and remove defective material.
Set and adjust guides according to cutting specifications.
Monitor saw stops, blades, lubrication systems, chip collectors, and chip barrels.
Work with and provide direction to 1–2 team members to maintain production and quality standards.
Ensure stacking equipment aligns material properly according to balance and safety standards.
Create rack setups that protect material and prevent damage during handling and storage.
Assist in coordinating proper packing and stacking procedures.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.
Maintain consistent attendance and reliability.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready.
