Extrusion Saw Operator – 1st Shift

Pries is looking for an Extrusion Saw Operator to join our growing team! No previous manufacturing experience is required—we provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 2-2-3 rotating schedule
  • Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days
  • Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend

Starting Pay

Competitive pay based on experience. Minimum $22/HR

What You'll Do

As an Extrusion Saw Operator, you will play a key role in producing high-quality aluminum products by ensuring materials are cut accurately and safely according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities include:

• Verify order lengths, die profiles, and work orders using Epicor/Epics
• Confirm cut tolerances and product specifications
• Inspect material for defects and ensure quality standards are met
• Remove and properly document defective or scrap material
• Set up saw guides and equipment according to production requirements
• Monitor saw stops, blades, lubrication systems, and chip collection equipment
• Lead and direct saw helpers to maintain production flow and quality standards
• Ensure stacking equipment aligns material properly according to balance standards
• Create rack setups that protect material and prevent damage
• Accurately tag racks with order information, die number, quantity, length, finish, and temper
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety policies and report unsafe conditions immediately
• Maintain reliable attendance and a positive team attitude
