Customer Service Representative
Independence, IA - Full Time
Pries Enterprises is looking for a customer service representative to join our team in Independence. This person will drive customer satisfaction by fielding inquiries, addressing pain points and maintaining extensive product knowledge.
The ideal candidate has a customer-first mindset and aims to deliver high-quality service in every customer interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Organize orders and prioritize requests
- Quote new orders or production runs and facilitate price communication.
- Coordinate product returns and customer complaints with quality department
- Follow order status from PO through delivery
- Set up ship dates; use order volume to help minimize shipping expenses by coordinating loads, and multiple customers per load.
- Navigate Epics, Quote module, order entry, status, customer data and parts
- Basic understanding of drawings and Pries die prints.
- Professional communication via phone and email
Requirements:
- 1-2 years proven experience in supporting client success
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to address complaints and issues with effective solutions and a positive attitude
- Passion for delighting customers with above and beyond service
- Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems
Pries Enterprises is a family owned aluminum extrusion company located in Independence, IA, celebrating its 50th year this year!
This position is 7:30am-4pm Monday-Friday. Some over time may be required based on fluctuating production or work load. This is a salary based position, pay varying based on experience with a minimum of $20.00 per hour.
