Cutback Saw Help

Independence, IA - Full Time

Pries is looking for a Cutback Saw Help to add to our team! No previous experience needed!

This position is an 8 hour shift from 10pm-6am  Monday-Friday and a possible Saturday depending on production. Starting at up to $20 per hour!

*steel toe requirement* PPE Reimbursement Available

Duties include:

  • Receive instructions and work orders for the job from cutback saw operator or look up in ERP.
  • Plan details of working procedure and gather tools and materials required.
  • Examine products for defects, such as deep scratches, bent material, bow, dents and flatness.
  • Pack product based on pack codes, and notes.
  • Load material manually with team work onto saw table if needed.
  • Report any discrepancies to cutback saw operator and/or team leader.
  • May hand stamp or stencil identifying information on cartons or shipping containers.
  • Comply with and enforce all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or
  • Safety Department.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly area.
