Pries is looking to add an extrusion team lead to the 2nd or 3rd shift production crew! These hours would be 2pm-10pm or 10pm-6am M-F . Training schedule will be different based on current production. Starting pay at minimum $22 per hour plus $1 shift differential and $2 attendance bonus eligibility every pay period. Fluent in and Spanish and English required.
Position Summary: Supervise all employee areas in extrusion production. Schedule and execute production; to achieve company goals and meet customer needs based on available material, equipment and manpower. Responsible for safety of employees under supervision. Understand and follow instructions. Work well with others, detail oriented, accept additional responsibility, use good judgement when making decisions, multi-task, organize and plan work by priority. Is reliable and motivated. Has strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Maintain a positive attitude.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise approximately 5-10 employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Pries’ policies and applicable laws. Train, plan, assign and direct work. Appraise performance; reward and discipline employees, address complaints and resolve problems.

Class 1: Must successfully demonstrate proficiency of written, spoken, and/or hands on ability of the following:
1. Lead a press crew
2. Setup and operate all equipment in department
3. Must show proficiency in all press practice procedures
4. Proficient using/reading all necessary measurement tools
5. Determine what defects are scrap as set by Pries and our customers
Class 2: Must successfully demonstrate proficiency of written, spoken and/or hands on ability for Class1; as well as the
following:
1. Ability to perform simple maintenance on all equipment in department
2. Effectively train and mentor employees within department
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum three months related
experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and
procedure manuals. Ability to read and write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in
one-on-one and small group situations to management, other employees, suppliers and customers.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions,
and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills: Ability to perform routine computer operations specific to in-house software programs.
