Saw Helper – 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)

Pries Enterprises is looking for a dependable, team-oriented Saw Helper to join our extrusion press team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting production and ensuring our customers receive high-quality products.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Overtime: Occasional Saturdays based on production needs
Starting Pay: $17+ per hour plus $2 shift differential and $2 attendance bonus eligibility

What You’ll Do

As a Saw Helper, you’ll play a key role in supporting saw operations and maintaining product quality:

Assist in operating and supporting cold saw and stacking equipment
Verify part lengths meet order specifications
Perform piece counts to ensure order accuracy
Inspect materials for defects (scratches, dents, bowing, die lines, etc.)
Remove and sort scrap material for recycling
Support the Saw Operator during breaks and lunches
Align materials on runout tables for proper cutting
Refill and organize spacer carts for efficient production
Stack and package finished product according to specifications to prevent damage
Report quality or production issues to the Team Leader
