2nd Shift Cutback Saw Operator

Pries Enterprises is looking for a motivated Cutback Saw Operator to join our team on 2nd shift. No prior experience required—we will train the right candidate!

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Overtime and occasional Saturdays based on production needs

Pay:
Up to $22/hour, depending on experience

Training:
Initial training will take place on 1st shift for approximately two weeks

Requirements:

Steel-toe boots required
PPE reimbursement available

Key Responsibilities:

Verify order specifications, including material length and die profile using Epics
Ensure cut accuracy and tolerance standards are met
Inspect materials for defects and burrs; identify and scrap defective material
Set up and adjust saw guides according to specifications
Monitor saw operation, including blade condition, lubrication, and chip removal systems
Assist in leading 1–2 team members to maintain production flow and quality standards
Ensure proper stacking, alignment, and protection of materials to prevent damage
Direct support staff in proper packing and handling procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety policies and report unsafe conditions immediately
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
