Pries is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to add to our team!
This position is a 12 hour swing shift of 2 on, 2 off, and every other weekend. Pay Range varies from $27-40/Hr depending on experience.
- 6am-6pm
Experience Needed: High School Diploma or (GED); or minimum 5-10 years of related experience working in an industrial maintenance department.
- Hydraulic knowledge
- PLC Experience
- Motor experience preferred
- Electrical Experience a plus
- Leadership experience required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Guide contractors via direction from the Maintenance Manager
- Schedule jobs and projects for maintenance techs
- Write, modify, and schedule preventive maintenance
- Monitor E-Maintenance activities and work orders to ensure they are being completed properly
- Plan projects
- Notify Maintenance Purchaser if parts are noted as missing
- Identify worn machinery and advise replacement
- Communicate clearly via email, on the phone and in person
- Ensure all repairs and work orders are completed in a timely manner
- Effectively maintain inventory levels of parts to control downtime
- Conduct department meetings
- Ensure time keeping and absentee data is properly recorded for assigned crews
- Promote and implement continuous improvement
- Motivate and assist in training of Maintenance Technicians
- Comply with and enforce all safety policies, practices and procedures especially LOTO and electrical safety. Report all unsafe activities to Manager and/or Safety Department, as well as assess immediate corrective actions.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
