Pries is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to add to our team! 

This position is a 12 hour swing shift of 2 on, 2 off, and every other weekend. Pay Range varies from $27-40/Hr depending on experience.

  • 6am-6pm 

Experience Needed: High School Diploma or (GED); or minimum 5-10 years of related experience working in an industrial maintenance department.

  • Hydraulic knowledge 
  • PLC Experience 
  • Motor experience preferred
  • Electrical Experience a plus
  • Leadership experience required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned:

  • Guide contractors via direction from the Maintenance Manager
  • Schedule jobs and projects for maintenance techs
  • Write, modify, and schedule preventive maintenance
  • Monitor E-Maintenance activities and work orders to ensure they are being completed properly
  • Plan projects
  • Notify Maintenance Purchaser if parts are noted as missing
  • Identify worn machinery and advise replacement
  • Communicate clearly via email, on the phone and in person
  • Ensure all repairs and work orders are completed in a timely manner
  • Effectively maintain inventory levels of parts to control downtime
  • Conduct department meetings
  • Ensure time keeping and absentee data is properly recorded for assigned crews
  • Promote and implement continuous improvement
  • Motivate and assist in training of Maintenance Technicians
  • Comply with and enforce all safety policies, practices and procedures especially LOTO and electrical safety.  Report all unsafe activities to Manager and/or Safety Department, as well as assess immediate corrective actions.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
