Pries Enterprises is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our growing night shift team. If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Schedule

Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Rotation: 2 days on, 2 days off, with every other weekend scheduled

Pay

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Pay is based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum of two years of industrial maintenance experience preferred

• Hydraulic troubleshooting and repair knowledge

• PLC experience preferred

• Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus

• Motor repair and maintenance experience preferred

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work independently

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs to support production goals. This position works closely with operators and production personnel to diagnose problems, improve equipment reliability, and minimize downtime. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, dependable, safety-focused, and motivated to continuously improve equipment performance.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, motors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and machinery

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues

• Diagnose equipment failures through observation, testing, and use of precision measuring instruments

• Remove and replace defective components using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes

• Communicate equipment concerns and maintenance needs with production and leadership teams

• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks accurately and on time

• Enter detailed maintenance information into the CMMS system to track downtime, repairs, and inventory requirements

• Fabricate or modify repair parts using machine shop equipment as needed

• Lead maintenance projects and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Recommend and implement solutions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Follow and enforce all company safety policies and procedures
